Sri Lanka was an easy meat for India as the island nation succumbed to yet another innings defeat. This is perhaps the weakest Lankan Test side in their cricketing history and even a club side can defeat them. Great going for R Ashwin for completing the rare double of 200 Test runs and 200 wickets in just over 50 Test Matches which is an incredible achievement. Only Kapil Dev for India has done that in fewer matches and Ashwin surely is one of the best all rounder the world of cricket has witnessed. A disciplined bowler and a useful batsman in any condition, Ashwin can walk into any World XI with ease.
Ashwin is a match winner with the ball and difficult to negotiate in bowling condition apart from being economical. Well done R Ashwin. We will hear a lot of his exploits in the days to come and good luck to him.
