Singer Katy Perry, who has dated some of the biggest names of entertainment industry, has revealed that singlehood is now helping her career in a big way.
The 32-year-old singer believes that being not attached to anyone has allowed her to concentrate on her career and balance her world tour with starring on ‘American Idol’, reports Contactmusic.
In a recent interview to an entertainment channel, the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ hit-maker said, “I’m a bit younger in heart! I’m a bit more mature. Single! You know, when you’re single, you got a lot of time to yourself and a lot of energy, and I’m just finding a delicate balance.”
Perry was married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 until 2012 and has also dated the likes of John Mayer and Orlando Bloom.
The Pop-sensation also conceded that her fellow ‘American Idol’ judges, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, have helped to ease some of the pressure on her.
“These guys are pulling a lot of the weight,” noted Perry.
The new season of ‘American Idol’ will air in 2018.
