Children are the main victims of this menace. They are more prone to such attacks because they try to run after seeing these dogs.  It is impossible to stop nuisance without putting an end to the ever-growing population of stray dogs. Rabies is one of the deadliest diseases in India.  India is at number one in the rate of human rabies. Rabies is transmitted to humans through dog bites and it is a serious disease and may result in death of the person bitten by dog.
