Tamil Nadu in tatters

Tamil Nadu politics touched its nadir as a break in AIADMK is on the cards after two months of Amma’s death. This is causing ripples in the minds of people of the state in general and other Tamils all over the world. AIADMK party came to power with majority and there was no stopping continuation of its second term in the state on the trot. Instead of continuing with the Chief Minister appointed by Late J. Jayalalithaa, the party thought over a change and now paid price for the same and now facing instability. With nearly four and a half years left for the AIADMK rule in the state, the party is in total turmoil and face a break as it happened when MGR died in the year 1987.  Transfer of power should go rather smoothly instead of creating problems and unrest in the state. Now the situation has gone out of hand and there is no amicable solution except having Panneerselvam as the Chief Minister for some more time before clearing the differences in the party. As of now Sasikala need to wait and watch court verdict on disproportionate case levelled against her. If it goes against her then the state need to look for an alternative. Now, if the stalemate continues President’s rule is the only solution to bring parity among the party cadre and find out an amicable solution to the pressing issues.
