Team India tasting twin wins

After winning the test series win against England, Indian Team under Virat Kohli was brimming with confidence in the one day series with a win at Pune and now continue the winning streak in the second one day match at Cuttack. Despite early setbacks after the loss of openers and the loss of captain Kohli, both Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni were having other ideas and went on partnership building in a very planned way. Together they added 256 runs in quick time and laid the foundation for Indian victory. Yuvraj’s 150 is probably his best one day inning and Dhoni matched him stroke by stroke in scoring 134 in his own inimitable style. In all it was good batting show by the two veterans of one day cricket. When England started with one wicket for over 100, it was the turn of another senior pro Ashwin to lay his hand on key wickets and jolted England innings. He accounted for in form Root, belligerent Ben Strokes and clean hitter Butler to pave way victory. For England Eoin Morgan played captain’s innings of 102 and got out in the chase for runs in the dying moments of the game. Thus, Team India clinched the series with the twin wins in three match series.
