Places of worship is turning into places of death as people become restless resulting in stampede in crowded areas near the deity. Such types of stampedes is occurring time and again and giving scope for accidental deaths. Many devotees lose their lives due to stampede at Sabarimala temple. This issue can be solved by emulating the steps followed during Haj pilgrimage. The Saudi government imposed restrictions on the number of pilgrims arriving from each nation. Likewise online entry pass system to the devotees may be arranged by Travancore Devaswom board. Pass holders of devotees only may be permitted to the shrine and the number of devotees should be restricted as per the space available to accommodate them. This will ease all the problems. As the place of worship lack medical facilities, the number of deaths increase every year and there is no solution to address this problem. It is our earnest desire to improve the infrastructure facility in an around the Sabarimala Temple.
