Congress is being decimated from State after State (even from corporation and zilla parishad election) and it is time for them to look beyond the Gandhis’ if the age old Party has to survive in today’s politics. Nowadays voters today are educated and smarter which means dynastic politics will have no place in the days to come. Other parties too which practice dynastic politics would meet with a similar outcome in the days to come.
Congress today does not even figure as the No.2 party in most elections and literally has no future under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. They need to choose their leader on merit and must start from scratch to undo the damage done by practicing dynastic politics which is responsible for their sorry plight. Educated people too should join ‘active’ politics which is not a bad profession and only professionals with determination, hard work and the will to serve the people can take our country to the path of development and progress.
