Local train passengers are relieved after receiving the good news that the fares may not go up till 2019 and it is a welcome move. This has come at a time when prices of commodities are going up and petrol price is costing the people dear. The railway minister is not in favour of an increase in suburban fares and raised hopes of improving the services with more trains to avoid overcrowding. Apart from this, the trains should stick to the timings, so that the rush in the stations will be disbursed on a regular basis. If it were to happen, then it will be a major relief for over 70 lakh commuters, who use local trains for their daily commute. Train passengers get the much needed relief and if the services improve drastically as promised then it will be a boon.
