It is notable that WR local trains pick up speed and from current 70 kmph to 90 kmph speed as the new signalling system allowed Bombardier rakes to maintain speed. The fast line has four aspect signalling system and that paves way for increasing the speed substantially. The 1355 locals will see the speed touch a new high and a 36 lakh commuters will be benefited due to the new signalling system. It is a welcome sign as commuters were feeling that WR trains are becoming slow after introduction A/C trains in this section. Yellow light caution is advanced to provide motorman sufficient time to control speed and wait for red signal in time. The change has given new hope and the high speed. The WR has now changed to a four aspect signalling system from the earlier three aspect signal.
