After repeated reports of the actress throwing tantrums, looks like Hina Khan has finally quit the long running show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The serial that airs at prime slot on Star Plus has had a long run and Hina was playing the protagonist.
The reports had been pouring in that due to the focus shifting on the new couple Naira-Kartik on the show, Hina was getting insecure of her screen presence. She had been irregular with shooting and demanded 70% of the screen timing however with the younger ones’ love track doing well, the makers were apprehensive.
Stories of Hina’s tantrums were doing rounds and even when she came to shoot, she would shoot only for 5-6 hours. While the makers are planning to ease out her character, Hina has already started giving interviews that she has quit and is open to new projects.
The actress had always maintained earlier that as long as the show is running, she’ll never quit as this was her launch show and gave her all her name and fame. The show is Produced by Rajan Shahi and recently saw the male protagonist Karan Mehra also leaving due to health issues.
