Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro launched in India with 6GB RAM and 16MP Camera

samsung galaxy c9 proSamsung India on Tuesday announced the launch of its new smartphone powerhouse ‘Galaxy C9 Pro’. Bollywood actress Prachi Desai did the honours for the company.

The customer can pre-book the device through select stores and online platforms from January 27. The company is offering one-time screen replacement for a period of 12 months on pre-booking.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will be available in two colours, black and gold. The device will be available across all retail channels in the latter half of February 2017 at a price of Rs 36,900.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is a feature powerhouse with a super screen, super memory and super camera, offering consumers an immersive viewing, the best multimedia and camera experience.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro comes with a 6-inch HD AMOLED display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 SoC, which has an octa-core processor with a quad core cluster clocked at 1.95GHz and the other quad-core cluster clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone comes with a 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage space, which is expandable to 256GB. This is the first Samsung phone to come with 6GB RAM.

It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It houses a 16MP rear as well as front camera with an f/1.9 aperture. On the rear, it has a dual LED flash unit. There is a 4000mAh battery, which supports fast charging.

In terms of connectivity, you get a dual SIM card slot, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.3, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, Glonass, NFC, USB Type C port and more.
