Tweeting has become the favourite past time for famous people

Virendra Sehwag is the greatest opening batsman our country has ever had after Sunil Gavaskar but his stupid remarks “I didn’t score triple centuries, my bat did,” targeting Gurmehar Kaur was in bad taste. Delhi University student Gurmehar is in the news for her photo post which read “Pakistan did not kill my dad, war killed him” has the entire country confused and amused.

War does kill innocent people and I don’t think Gurmehar’s post was off target. Student politics is bad and politicians who sponsor and support politics on the campus have now jumped into the controversy for gaining mileage. Let us not mix politics and studies in the first place and dismantle campus elections and organizations which don’t really support the voice of students in their studies. Sehwag on his part should train budding cricketers than take pot shot at others via tweets which has now become the favourite past time of celebrities.
