Again, AAP ki sarkar in Delhi?

All fights stop with Modi, as he has gained the biggest victory as PM by securing maximum seats for BJP. Aam Aadmi Party emerged big and now vanished with time. India is one of the great countries where someone like Rahul Gandhi or Kejriwal were seriously considered as a potential prime minister while they have zero proven record for the prime ministership. No doubt, Aam Aadmi Party created ripples in short span of time. The party has the best of members (but with no political experience) in it. Let us keep Arvind Kejriwal out of AAP and then look at the other party members. They are Titaliya Devi (in Jamui, Jharkhand – A Nobel Peace Nominee and daily wager), Medha Patkar, HS Phoolka (Fighting for justice in Supreme Court for 84 riots’ victims from last 30 yrs), Anita Pratap and others. They tried tooth and nail to make AAP a strong contender in India but they botched. Congress and BJP will keep doing their politics of convenience though BJP gave striking show and Congress was wiped away from its roots in this general election.

After AAP was defeated in Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, some AAP MLAs now mooted the proposal for the party to once again form the government in Delhi, with support from either the BJP or Congress. At a meeting of its top leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, some AAP legislators, who claimed to be around 20 in number, are said to have conveyed to the leadership that the party should make a fresh attempt at forming the government. Kejriwal’s decision to resign in February after 49 days in power is one of the major reasons behind AAP’s poor show in Lok Sabha polls. This proposal was greeted positively by some 20 AAP MLAs present at the meeting. Kejriwal and other senior leaders heard the views of the MLAs, but did not show any interest so far. The legislators left it to the political affairs committee to take a decision on this. At this moment, AAP forming government comes as a surprise. Many political pundits say that, Kejriwal has rejected the people who earnestly voted for him, rejecting two major political parties BJP and Congress. How much money was spent for conducting elections? His sudden and immature decision has disappointed many people who voted for him. I think this decision should be taken seriously on priority.

On the other hand, Modi is confident because he has seen the result of development model. However, Kejriwal exposed this Gujarat Development Model of BJP and Modi. Kejriwal says there is no such development taken place in Gujarat. Kejriwal’s only agenda is eradication of corruption but he has no proper plan as to how he is going to implement it. His idea of contesting against Modi from Varanasi constituency was to defeat him by splitting the votes. But he himself was defeated in the battle. He shifted his aims several times. The unsteady approach of Kejriwal confused people and Modi’s strong political campaign moved the carpet beneath all the political parties. If we look at the history then from thousands of years we are seeing that to defeat one king, the enemy king asks for the help of another king and after snatching the kingdom from the first king, they both fight for that kingdom. Sometimes, we have to learn from history. India wants leaders who can take this country on development path and change the life of the citizens of the nation. India needs a leader who can take bold decisions without hesitation. Coalition politics should be stopped. People of India do not want to live in a nation which remains ”DEVELOPING” for another 60 years. They want to live in developed nation. People of India want a political institution which has clearly articulated position on constitution, territorial integrity of the nation and about those who challenge the very idea of democracy which is a prized legacy achieved by sacrifice of nation’s blood.
Kejriwal came to power in Delhi with a pledge to change the System, and resigned, blaming the System. Arvind Kejriwal was campaigning in Varanasi because Modi was trying his fate from this holy city. Kejriwal has no connection with Varanasi or its people and was even not interested in contesting from there. Varanasi is the oldest city in the world. Kejriwal is a mushroom which sprang up suddenly after the rain of Anna’s movement against corruption. If he has not participated in Anna’s dharna and fast, he would have been the exact common man and not a special common man heading a common man’s party. We have seen several such crusaders right from Jayaprakash Narayan, Chandrasekar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, V P Singh, etc. Yet, there is no revolution in India and the system and politics remain the same. We Indians cannot forget and forego our slave mentality. We elect Kings and Queens for a short period and we accept whatever they do without any refusal. AAP is becoming a catalyst for political churning in the history of Indian democracy and Varanasi represents the battlefield. At the end, people of Varanasi and India voted for someone who they think is good for India and who can do a better job than others. India required a real skilled person to solve their problems. However, the question here is, how will they make it happen?
