Akshay Kumar is a ‘dabangg’ superstar for sure. The 42-something super-hot hunk of Bollywood masters the art of performing breathtaking and dangerous stunts. And has yet again done what only a few dare to do.
Akki took to Twitter to share an image from his upcoming film ‘Shaukeen’.
The film in question is a remake of Basu Chatterjee’s namesake super-hit film of 1981, with Mithun Chakraborty and Rati Agnihotri as the main leads.
Chatterjee’s film revolved around three old men – Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt and AK Hangal – who were after a young woman – Rati Agnihotri. The young lady was in love with Mithun.
In the remake, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher will essay the roles of the three old men.
Helmed by ‘Tere Bin Ladin’ fame Abhishek Sharma, Akshay’s ‘Shaukeen’ had earlier taken NargisFakhri on board. But owing to date issues, the actress was dropped from the film. Nargis’s exit made for Lisa, who made pulled of an impressive performance in VikasBahl’s ‘Queen’.
