Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today told the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) officials to immediately repair the damaged portion of the national highways in the state, a government release said.

The chief minister during a meeting with NHIDCL general manager, Ajitpal Singh Brar and other senior officials at Dibrugarh also told them to speed up construction of new roads in the state, the release said.
