Chandigarh University’s women students are protesting for the objectionable videos gone viral on social media

In Punjab’s Mohali city at Chandigarh University women, students are protesting outside the campus as the objectionable video goes viral on social media.

While the protest was happening in the campus some of the women students also attempted suicide in this case. One of the accused a women student has been caught for making video of other students has been held in this case.

In this case a video on social media goes viral which shows hostel warden asking the reason for making all this videos. Later some students has posted on social media stating why the warden is blaming students for wearing short clothes and not helping students in this case.

Student protesting stated videos of them taking bath on social media has gone viral due to which they are protesting. As per the Chandigarh police they are still investigating in this matter also one accused has been arrested and all the electronic gadgets have been taken to the custody.

Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains states “I humbly request all the students of Chandigarh University to remain calm, no one guilty will be spared. It’s a very sensitive matter & relates to dignity of our sisters & daughters. We all including media should be very very cautious,it is also test of ours now as a society”.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also supports the women students of Chandigarh University and stated “ The culprits wont be spared the investigation will be taken place”.
