Winning is a habit and the Chelsea team played as a unit and played to a plan to top the table with 87 points well ahead of the second placed Tottenham with a 10 points lead. Manchester City finished third with 72 points and a long way behind. Playing a perfect defence and attacking at the right moment Chelsea set in with a splendid success after title clinching win at West Bromwich. Now a league title in the bag, the sights are clearly set on double and that is the making of champions. Team work in the heroic ways of N’Gold Kante, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and David Luiz the team set a high level and maintained the trend throughout the tournament. It was not easy but they took it tough to accomplish the task in style. Chelseas’s success story is remarkable and played big time football in the way it is to be played at the highest level to clinch the championship.
