Popular comedian Rehman Khan who has been seen in many TV shows like ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 3′, Mad In India’, Comedy Circus’ has been arrested on the rape charges.
The comedian also allegedly shot the heinous act on his phone and blackmailed her.
Khan borrowed Rs. 2 lakh from the woman. When she asked for the money later, he reportedly took her to a hotel in Vasai and raped her. The woman says that she was blackmailed by Khan with the video of the rape.
Santacruz police station transferred the case to Waliv police station in Vasai. After an intense search, Rehman was arrested on Tuesday from Kurla.
Khan was seen as a participant in Comedy Circus 2, Comedy Circus Chincpokli to China, Comedy Circus 20:20 with Rakshanda Khan, Comedy Ka Mahasangram with Karishma Tanna, Jubilee Comedy Circus with Saloni Daini, Comedy Ke Superstar with Usha Nadkarni, Comedy Circus Ki Kahani with Ragini Khanna, Comedy Circus 3 Ka Tadka with Anoop Soni and Shweta Tiwari.He also competed in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3, Comedy Champions, Chote Miya Bade Miya, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala, Nautanki – The Comedy Theatre, Mad in India with Sunil Grover.
