Child labour has become a major problem in India. It is a well known fact that poverty and general unemployment has forced around a million children into physical labour in our country. These children are of ages as young as seven. Instead of playing, reading and enjoying their childhood, they are found working at restaurants and roadside tyre mending stalls for a meagre remuneration. India might be among the places that have the highest rate of child labour.
To add to this sorry state of affairs, there are no educational facilities in the province. The Indian government and all relevant authorities are hereby requested to take the matter seriously and eradicate the menace of child labour.
