Lawlessness in UP

The euphoria of elections has died down and time has come to face the realities. You indulge in dynastic politics and target the weak people what about the hardcore dynasty of Mulayam Singh Yadav who will always create obstacles for you? You must ask the governor to send a report pertaining to the lawlessness prevalent in Uttar Pradesh and dismiss the Akhilesh Yadav government. Any one possessing some common sense can observe that he is taking you for a ride by asking you to send coal within 15 days and electricity can be generated within the same period of time.

While conducting the first cabinet meeting the government should have appealed to leaders to refrain from issuing controversial statements without consulting the leadership. For the abrogation of Article 370 a resolution is required to be passed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha with a two-third majority. Later it also needs to be passed in the Kashmir assembly with two third majority which is not likely to happen. The government should instead consult Rajya Sabha member Karan Singh, who is educated and will provide the necessary advice in this regard.

I have already mentioned that the educational qualification of HRD Minister Smriti Irani doesn’t matter too much. Are Smriti Irani’s educational qualifications or lack of them going to have a bearing on how she performs in the office? It depends on her approach, and also the leadership around and behind her.

She says that her priority is to open more IIT’s across the country. Her priority instead should be to strengthen the ITI’s by recruiting expert technicians (even from abroad) for providing training to more technicians, because these are the people who will work at grassroots level. I wish her all success in her endevour.

You could have made Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptullah the governor of either UP or Maharashtra. Why did she issue that statement that Muslims are not minority. Is it the only statement which needs to be made? Whether the Muslims are in majority or minority is not the issue instead the government must persuade them to feel them an important part of the nation and work for its economic amelioration. Those who project themselves as the “ thekedars” of Muslims ( like Azam Khan) must be crushed by all means .
