Leopard enters residential colonies

It was disheartening sight to see a Leopard entering housing colonies attacking inmates during night and early morning hours near Film City. Aarey Milk Colony and other nearby places is in the scare of the man eating animal disturbing the lives of common man.  Now after all the happenings the forest department is taking a note and acting slowly. This is a sad state of affairs as the authorities in charge at Aarey Milk Colony just brush aside about the incident saying that the animal had strayed near the residential complexes on the lookout for prey and it is only a stray case. However, human lives is lost in such visits by the leopard.  It is high time the authorities pay heed to this fact and make a permanent solution before the situation goes of hand and avoid many more attacks and human deaths in the process.  We have to preserve species like lion, leopard, tiger and Cheetah but not at the expense of human life.
