Modi should now commence work

There has been enough election campagining now and Narendra Modiji who expects to be our next PM should give up “jijaji” and “RSVP” and start displaying constructive approach right away. We see reports and photographs of trains falling off and there have been several instances of trucks loaded with containers falling off and yet on the other hand, we read of Mr. Giriraj Singh sending those to Pakistan who will not vote for Modi and Azam Khan reportedly circulating a CD, justifying his statement on the Kargil war.

We are very short of skilled manpower, fit to be employed. There is an urgent need to train up more technicians through our industries. Our youth are more interested in taking up softer options by going for MBA to get high paying packages without any work experience. However, they are not to be blamed because we have not done good work in talent nurturing and vocational guidance. The IITs should develop in students a passion for technology and it’s use to provide day to day needs to , say, the farmers and road builders. If you go to other countries, even Malaysia and Indonesia, you will find containers being efficiently carried and delivered in good condition right on your door whereas we are struggling with the multimodal transportation. We used to carry lot of refrigerated cargo from Durban to Singapore and container handling at Singapore is very efficient. Same is the case with Latin American countries.

We have not moved out. We should buy (with the help of the government) land in African countries and create business there. On the southern side at the bulge of Africa, there are countries like Togo, Benin etc; where the government should drive our businessmen to for expansion and job creation, not simply build a huge mansion on Altamount Road and be happy with Mumbai Indians. Our ministry of Industry, with the Planning commission must assist and develop new entrepreneurs and once they are reasonably well off, they must be driven out, go set up plants outside and take the youth for working there. In Ethiopia there is lot of scope and then in Myanmar. Modiji is wasting time on Jijaji , why not he call and tell Mr. Adani , take him and set plants across India and overseas and enhance economic activity for common good. Create wealth by your constructive endeavors and build infrastructure and see that the wealth is distributed reasonably equally to narrow the gap between super rich and lower middle class.
