Pressing problem for working parents is that the caretaker resort various cost cutting measures and try to avoid giving utmost care to each and every children in their custody. The State Government has now begun framing child safety rules for pre-schools and creches within the city. The parents did not wish to allow the kids to stay at home with seniors in a move not to trouble the old.

Day care is a childcare option where parents drop-off their children during the day for care, supervision and learning. Day care centres are formal, structured environments with specific drop-off and pick-up times. Day care centres specialize in care of infants through pre-schoolers, although some of them offer facilities like before-and after-school care for school-aged children as well. Each day care has different rules, but many will admit babies as young as three months old.

Some operators even transport children to home from school and a select number will also provide transportation to certain extracurricular offerings or sports programs. Most day care centres are national or regional chains; some are privately owned. Be sure to check with your state to determine regulations, licensing or accreditation requirements.

It is not an easy task to bring up a baby. One should have the knack to manage a child. Managing a male child is not so easy as most of the boys will be naughty. We should appreciate the parents, teachers and the people managing the creche doing a tough job in managing the buddies. Definitely a day care is a boon and it is better to have a creche like arrangement for managing children. Working parents take the advantage of Day Care Centres and the children enjoy the different atmosphere apart from home to spend during the day. Bringing up a baby is not a joke and it is up to the parents to apply right methods to nurture them. But of late, creches in the city are taking things rather lightly and the care taker is taking advantage of the loneliness even resorting to extreme step of beating the children and causing a ruckus. Even though CC TV are installed in the day care centre, the care takers go berserk harass the child. Hence, there should be a monitoring system from both the house or from the work place to reduce case of harassment to child and find an amicable solution before the situation goes out of hand.

The state government has acted too late to frame rules for safety and security of the children in the pre-schools and creches. Thus name of certain creches has gone bad and hence working parents are scared of dropping their child in day care centre and instead drop them at relatives place or in creches admitting limited students. In big centres it is time to provide connectivity to the parents of the child to view from home how the child is treated in day care centre. Care should also be taken to monitor whether sleeping pills are administered to children to make them sleep most of the time during the day care time. After all, today’s youngsters are the future of the country and proper upbringing is the need of the hour in bringing out responsible citizens of the country for the future.
