The very debate on our National Anthem being played before a movie in cinema hall and citizens showing respect by standing to show respect is shameful. Really shocked at people’s patriotism towards their own country when they argue why it is mandatory and this truly is disgusting. Our National Anthem should be the symbol of unity which should unite citizens and not divide the masses.
Can’t we all not spare less than a minute for our National Anthem when we can waste over 3 hours for a movie? National anthem should also be played in schools and colleges as also in offices as well as before the stock markets open. Some may argue that it may be a bit too much but playing National Anthem before any good act not only builds one’s confidence but should inspire citizens to give off their best be it anything in life!
