Life in Mumbai came to a standstill with Ockhi alert and hype which was unwarranted. Weather and cyclonic forecasts in our country are seldom accurate and the predicted cyclonic storm over Mumbai died a natural death. However, unprecedented rains on account of cyclone in the month of December signals ‘Kalyug’ (bad times) and this is on account of environment destruction and abuse of nature for our luxuries.
Famines, cyclones and earthquakes which are on the rise may be natural calamities but often caused by mankind evil action on mother earth in the form of reckless cutting of tree, rising pollution and concretisation which creates tropical imbalance which results in natural disasters. It’s time the entire world pays attention to saving the earth; else life would become extinct in a few hundred years from now!
