Oratory skills of leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully understood psychology of the masses. The functions of Modi in foreign lands are nothing less popular than Bollywood item numbers. BJP will try to cash in on Modi’s popularity overseas to lure voters. Now, these clippings will be used during the Bihar election as party workers will say, “Dekho Modi ne duniya jeet li hai”. Digvijaya Singh had attacked Modi for criticizing the Congress during his foreign tour to Canada. While delivering a speech in Canada, Modi had said that he is cleaning up the mess left behind by Congress. Congress said that the comments were in poor taste and he must learn to conduct himself from senior leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee and L.K Advani.

The Congress sycophants have spoilt Rahul Gandhi and did not tutor him well. They did not teach him how to speak in public and on television. His first television interview was below par as Rahul struggled to answer several questions asked by Arnab Goswami. On the other hand, Human Resource Minister Smriti Irani proved to be smarter than Rahul. Look at the way she was speaking with Arnab Goswami as her facial expression looked better. Smriti showed that she is not dumb enough to fall for traps laid by Arnab. She is one of the best communicators today in higher echelons of the government. Only RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav can match Modi in public speaking and he can connect well with the masses too. He also had attacked Modi by saying that the latter failed to carry out both “raj dharma” (duty to govern) and “pati dharma” (duty of husband).

Priyanka Gandhi is a better communicator but she will have to face more obstacles from her husband Robert Vadra. Former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru did not expect that India will get freedom during his lifetime and he will taste the fruits of power. Subhas Chandra Bose was an idealistic leader and very emotional and he was always in a hurry. All these leaders were great men.

We cannot claim to be cultured persons if we open our mouths today and criticize them for their mistakes. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai etc; were men of eminence and that is why no one could even think about disenfranchising the Muslims at that moment. It is necessary to control the rising human population today. Land is decreasing but population is increasing at a faster pace. Those people who have more than 2-3 children should be debarred from central and state civil services.
