Youth should not fall prey to cyber-crimes – Part II

CK

By just gluing to the laptop or mobile, youngsters spoil their eyesight and make their lives miserable with black circle forming round the eyes. It is indeed a matter of great concern and thus we as parents should desist the youngsters from falling prey to this bad habit. While driving or even travelling through trains and walking young boys and girls use the head phone and in the deaf ears they could not expect impending danger through the sound of the vehicle/train. Thus the writing is on the wall it is better from overdoing anything that will spell doom in the end. By applying to technology one should not fall victim of a cyber-crime and see that such evil mind will not catch their minds as well. One should remember that breaking the law online is an offence and punishable.

The major flaw in the present system is the way youngsters are given freehand to move in isolation or in a group thereby they develop a bad character and that lead to all the troubles. The mind of the youngsters become corrupt and they look for money to lead a high five living. They are not able to mingle with a group with a good background and fall into the trap of bad elements. Hindi cine world make them more aggressive and that mind is well and truly developed from a very young age. Teenagers waylaid are not scared to commit rape in open as they are shameless in their acts and did not foresee the impending repercussions.

Nowadays children kidnap for ransom and that includes kidnapping their own brothers to achieve their aim of making easy money. Teachers are friend, philosopher and guide for the children. But if they behave in an indecent way, then what we can expect from the children, who follow him to the core. Preventing the youngsters from the follies of social life is not an easy thing. The mind should be developed in such a way to face any eventuality and the will to go on the right path. By doing so one can get a clean mind and that will again lead to happiness. The hurdle of passing through a youngster’s life have many obstacles but it is up to the person to make a decent living rather entering into unwanted offences and thereby bringing insult to the family and the institution you study or work. Parental care is of utmost importance to guide them to achieve a religious mind and that gives the additional protection when one encounters such ticklish situation. All are not born criminals. So the right approach and the right mix of friendship prevent you from becoming perpetrators of such heinous crimes. One should not be carried away by infatuation. My chemistry with Yami Gautam is organic: Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana

Singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who has worked with Yami Gautam twice, says he shares an organic chemistry with the actress.

After making their successful Bollywood acting debut in 2012 with Shoojit Sirkar’s ‘Vicky Donor’, the two teamed up again for a romantic music video titled ‘Yahin hoon Main’ this month.

Talking about their chemistry, the actor said: “Yami and I share an organic chemistry. While working on the video, I felt the same kind of vibe between us. The only thing is, I didn’t have abs at that time.”

“I did my first internship with her dad Mukesh Gautam. We are family friends so, the equation is always natural,” he added.

The music of the song, sung by Ayushmann, is by Rochak Kohli and the actor himself.

Would it get better response than his previous hit number ‘Pani da rang’?

“‘Pani da rang’ had that weight of the film. Because it went with the story, people accepted it easily. It is far more challenging for a single music video to cut through that,” he said.

Deepika has a special gift for Salman 50th Birthday?

Deepika & Salman

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, is all set to celebrate his 50th birthday, and Deepika wants to gift him a bride on his fiftieth birthday.

The dimpled hottie who is yet to be paired opposite Salman in films had made an appearance on the latter’s show Bigg Boss to promote her film ‘Tamasha’ last month. The two looked very comfortable with each other and may turn out to be one of the best onscreen jodis if they team up for films in future.

When Deepika was asked as to what would she want to gift Salman on his birthday, she said that she was planning to gift Salman Khan a bride on his birthday.

I wanted to be an astronaut says, Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who started her career as a costume designer, says she wanted to be an astronaut and that it was fate which crafted her switch from fashion to cinema. The daughter of Bollywood actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha forayed into the Hindi film industry with Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg in 2010.

Bollywood’s “Shotgun Junior” shared her sentiments in an interview on Colors Infinity’s show “Born Stylish” with host and designer Pria Kataaria Puri. She said: “To be honest, I wanted to be an astronaut, my math was so bad though that no institute would have given me admission. I love sports, I like to swim and play tennis so I also thought of becoming a swimmer once. “Being in fashion designing, I used to sketch well, I thought of becoming an artist also but eventually, I landed up being an actress. There were a lot of people from different walks of life who inspired me while making a career choice. I was always a courageous girl!”A simple dialogue like Thappad se darr nahi lagta saab ji. pyar se lagta hai from ‘Dabangg’ is still a rage among cinema buffs.

The actress, who is busy shooting for her upcoming films ‘Akira’ and ‘Force 2’, says she “never thought a heroine can get famous for her dialogue”. She said: “For me, the switch from fashion to cinema was all destiny. Arbaaz (Khan) spotted me at one of the fashion shows and approached me for the movie ‘Dabangg’, though I never wanted to be there, it was an offer I could not say no to. I had never thought a heroine can get famous for her dialogue; my father’s expertise has clearly rubbed-off on me”.

Raid, a ploy to divert attention of media

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted searches at the office of Secretary to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. A furious Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA government after CBI raid on the office of Chief Secretary of the Delhi government, terming it the “darkest” day and an “undeclared emergency” in the history of Indian democracy. “CBI raids my office…when Modi could not handle me politically, he resorts to this cowardice,” Kejriwal tweeted.

Indian PM has been called as a ‘coward, psychopath,’ isn’t it the worst language used against an elected Prime Minister of India? Whatever Kejriwal has said might be a reaction to an action, but whatsoever he shouldn’t have used such words. Let me clear that CBI is not a Delhi police. It is the central government which miserably failed on the political front with AAP and is now harassing the elected Government of Delhi. Why? Because, the AAP government is not favouring any business houses whereas the central government has friendly relation with some of them. We should note that, the CBI is carefully avoiding investigation if it is against any BJP’s corrupt politicians.

While the CBI has claimed that the raid was at the office and residence of Kumar, Kejriwal termed the agency as liars, saying files from his office were being looked into. His deputy, Manish Sisodia, questioned what message the government wanted to send by raiding the Chief Minister’s office. Mamata Banerjee also expressed her support to Kejriwal saying she was shocked to hear of the raid.

There was huge outrage and chaos on social media, while AAP leaders and supporters accused the NDA government of crushing civil liberties and democratic rights and said Modi was sending out a message to officials working with the Chief Minister that they will be targeted. Sisodia said action should be taken against guilty, but the same cannot be made an excuse to harass officials. A corruption case has been registered against Rajendra Kumar, the allegation that he abused his official position to favour a particular firm in getting tenders from various Delhi government departments in the past few years, adding that the action has been taken on the basis of a complaint lodged by a former Delhi Dialogue Commission member secretary. After taking warrants, the agency initiated searches on the residential and the official premises of Mr. Kejriwal’s Secretary at Delhi Secretariat around 9 a.m.

The question remains here is, as Alka Lamba has argued that the raid is politically motivated. It is not a raid on or against corruption. The said case is 13 years old. It was registered in 2002. At that time Sheila Dikshit of the Congress was the Delhi’s Chief Minister.

Not even a single raid happened in the last 13 years, and suddenly the investigation agency has woken up. The BJP is lying that Kejriwal’s office was not raided. The CBI has actually raided his secretariat, where he functions from. They have sealed the office where Kejriwal has kept most of the files related to Delhi administration. Isn’t it shocking? Aren’t you surprised by it?

The Centre is on the back foot after the inhuman demolition of slums at Shakur Basti by the Railways. Even the Delhi High Court has described it as an inhuman act and slammed the Railways. The Centre is now facing the heat. Just to divert the attention of the media, the CBI controlled by the Centre has raided Kejriwal’s office. All files related to Shakur Basti are at the CM’s office and the same office has been sealed by the CBI. They might tamper these files and may even destroy them.

AAP government has passed the Jan Lokpal Bill and sent it to the Centre. The Centre has been using the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Dr. Najeeb Jung to harass them. It is also using the Commissioner of Police, Delhi to implicate them in false cases. They are digging old FIRs against AAP MLAs and arresting them for no reason. After the LG and the Delhi police, the Centre is now using the CBI. It has already divided the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Delhi government. The raid has exposed the hypocrisy of the BJP over corruption. More than 100 people have so far mysteriously died in the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh. Did the Centre raid MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s office? No. The connection between Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and the IPL founder Lalit Modi are well known. He is absconding. Did the CBI or any other central agency raid her office? No. Then why they raided only Kejriwal’s CMO?

Lamba told that the Principal Secretary to chief minister is a very honest man. He is not a corrupt man. By raiding Rajender Kumar’s office, the Centre is terrorising all honest bureaucrats working in the Delhi government. They are warning them that whosoever is close to Kejriwal or honest will be targeted even if they are posted outside Delhi. Officers are now scared. The Centre wants to paralyse the entire administration by doing this. The AAP is against corruption and it is non-negotiable. Kejriwal sacked his own Cabinet minister on the charges of corruption and even ordered a CBI probe against him. The CBI raid has shocked the family of Rajender Kumar. His daughters are studying in school. They are in shock. All are terrified. Is it not inhuman?

Social media is divided in two groups; one that advocates and supports Kejriwal’s view and statements on PM Modi and others those who condemn his statement. Mainstream Media is gazing on controversy as usual. However, no one is bothered about the reputation of PM or CM when it comes to global platform.

Three held in Hema Upadhyaya murder case in city also

Hema Upadhyaya

Even as Mumbai Police is in hot pursuit of a key accused in the double murder case of installation artist Hema Upadhyaya and her lawyer, the three others earlier detained from the city were placed under arrest.

The trio — Azad Rajbhar, Pradeep Rajbhar and Vijay Rajbhar — who were detained in Mumbai on Sunday were arrested on Tuesday, Additional Commissioner of Police (North Region) Fatehsingh Patil said.

They are in the business of manufacturing and selling fibre glass used by Hema and her estranged husband and artist Chintan Upadhyaya for their installations. They were later produced in a local court, which remanded them in police custody till December 19, Patil said.

Based on the leads provided by the three during their sustained questioning, teams of Mumbai Police have been dispatched to various locations outside Maharashtra to track down and nab the key accused, Vidyadhar Rajbhar, who used to make the material required by Hema for her work.

According to police, Vidyadhar and Shivkumar Rajbhar alias Sadhu, who was detained at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh yesterday, and the three arrested allegedly killed Hema Upadhyaya (43) and her lawyer Harish Bhambhani (65) on Saturday last week.

Police said the arrest of Vidyadhar, a resident of Shamsi Housing Society in Kandivali, would shed light if the murder was a fallout of a financial dispute between him and Hema, or whether it was a contract killing allegedly involving some other motive.

The police have, meanwhile, sealed Vidyadhar’s warehouse in Kandivali. The bodies of the victims packed in cardboard boxes were found in a drain in Kandivali.

As per police, on Saturday night, the day they were believed to have been killed, Vidyadhar had called Hema on her mobile at around 7.30 PM.

A manhunt was launched for Vidyadhar soon after Sadhu was detained by the UP Special Task Force in Varanasi yesterday following a request by Mumbai police.

Sadhu had gone public with the claim that the two were killed under instructions from Vidyadhar.

Hema, a Baroda-born painter and installation artist, was locked in bitter divorce proceedings with her husband. She had in 2013 filed a case against him alleging that he painted obscene pictures of women on the walls of their matrimonial home in Mumbai to harass her. Bhambhani had represented Hema in this case.

Raj Thackeray distances himself from Dilwale controversy

Raj Thackeray

A day after the MNS-affiliated Chitrapat Karmachari Sena appealed people not to watch Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Dilwale’, party chief Raj Thackeray sought to distance himself from the controversy, saying boycotting the actor’s film was not his party’s official stand.

MNS Chitrapat Karmachari Sena chief Amey Khopkar had on Monday appealed to people to not watch ‘Dilwale’, which is slated to release later this week, citing ignorance on part of the actor towards farmers’ plight in Maharashtra.

“Shah Rukh Khan donated Rs. 1 crore for people who have been affected by Chennai (floods) tragedy. But he has forgotten drought-hit farmers of Maharashtra. This has been condemned by the Chitrapat Sena,” Thackeray said in a release issued.

“What it (Chitrapat Sena) is saying is right. Coming to Maharashtra, becoming big, earning a name for yourself and then forgetting the state is not right. He (Shah Rukh) should understand this. Nevertheless, I want to make it clear that Chitrapat Sena’s stand of boycotting the film is not an official stand of the party,” Raj further said.

Khopkar had alleged that Shah Rukh has made lot of money, but has not helped farmers in distress and that when his help is needed, he is not forthcoming.

One of Bollywood’s most popular on-screen pairs Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are reuniting on the big screen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, releasing on December 18.

Rename Middle Vaitarna dam after Balasaheb, demands Sena MLA

Ravindra Waikar

Hailing Bal Thackeray’s role in the construction of Middle Vaitarna dam in Maharashtra’s Thane district, Shiv Sena legislator Ravindra Waikar demanded that the project be rechristened after the late Sena Supremo.

“The Vaitarna River has three dams. The upper dam was constructed by Maharashtra government and lower one by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. An engineer named Modak had built the lower dam and thus the dam is known as Modak Sagar,” said Waikar.

The leader said Rs. 3,000 crore were required to build the third dam for he had approached the then Congress-led Central government.

“I and some officials of the MCGM had met Jairam Ramesh and had requested the Centre to provide us Rs. 3,000 crore to build the dam in midst of Vaitarna river. But, we were kept waiting for six months after which we decided to complete the work ourselves,” he said.

“We raised an internal loan through the MCGM and managed to construct the Middle Vaitarna dam. This may not have been possible without the efforts taken by Balasaheb and Uddhav ji,” he added.

Waikar said that Mumbai used to initially receive 2900 MLT water which increased by 450 MLT after the construction of the dam.

“All this has been done due to the hardwork done by Balasaheb to solve the drinking water problem of the city. If Modak Sagar dam can be named after an engineer because of his efforts, why can the middle Vaitarna dam be not named after Balasaheb?” he questioned.

“We have thus we have demanded that the middle Vaitarna dam be called Balasaheb Thackeray Jalashay,” Waikar said.

State govt to lower age of senior citizens to 60 years

The Maharashtra Government on Tuesday agreed to lower the age of attaining senior citizenship from 65 years to 60 years in order to bring it on par with the central government.

“The decision will come into effect from March 2016,” Minister for Social Justice Rajkumar Badole announced in the state Legislative Assembly.

During a discussion on the calling attention motion brought by Congress legislator Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and others, members cutting across party lines demanded that the state government should lower the age of citizenship to 60 years, on par with the Central Government.

“The government brought a Senior Citizen policy way back in 2013 and but it has not been implemented in letter and spirit,” the members complained.

BJP member Medha Kulkarni, Congress MLAs Varsha Gaikwad, Madhukar Chavan, Nabi Abdul Sattar and others insisted that there was a need for pensionable age being reduced from 65 years to 60 years on par with Central Government’s Indira Gandhi Pension Scheme.

Sensing the mood of the entire House, Badole agreed to bring it on par with Centre the age to 60 years and said it would be implemented from March 2016.

Vijay Wadettiwar of Congress demanded that elders, those staying in government-recognised shelter home for elders, are getting a meagre help of Rs. 900 per month for their clothing, meals, bedding and medicine which was quite insufficient. He demanded that it should be raised to Rs. 2,000 per month.

Badole informed the House that there was a proposal to increase it to Rs. 1,500 per month.

Ashish Shelar of BJP sought to know whether the government has intends to observe World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and when the State Council for Older Persons would be set up.

Replying to that Badole said, “A decision regarding the Awareness day will be taken in three months and the Council will be set up within one month.”

High Court asks state how many equipment it requires to check noise pollution

The Bombay High Court asked Maharashtra government to inform within two weeks how many equipment was required by the state to check noise pollution following which it would issue guidelines on measuring the decible level and how to conduct a random check during festivals.

The high court has sought this information from the government by December 23 on a petition filed by Mahesh Bedekar, a Thane resident.

Government Pleader Abhinandan Vagyani admitted that the state had not complied with its orders on noise pollution in the past but assured that in future it would follow the orders of the court in letter and spirit.

The high court noted that the equipment available with police stations was not used during festivals and said this was not proper.

The Government Pleader informed that every police station had at least one equipment to monitor noise pollution levels and said the requirement for such pieces was much more.

Justices Abhay Oka and Gautam Patel wanted to know if this was sufficient or whether more such equipment were needed to check noise pollution levels. The bench asked the government to inform about this within a week.

The high court also noted that during the recent Ganesh festival the authorities had not conducted noise pollution test to find out about violations.

The matter would be heard again on December 23.
