Pursue constructive agenda

BJP should stop talking about Sardar Patel and Jawaharlal Nehru. Both leaders did what they could do best under the given circumstances and now it’s the time of the ruling government to do good work. Trying to sidetrack the main issues and confusing people will not help the saffron party. Both BJP and Shiv Sena can are unable to get along and fight everyday on seat sharing issue and later the former talk about Sardar Patel and Nehru relationship. It is better to have a consensus with Shiv Sena about the seat sharing issue.

Sardar Patel will not reappear on the scene and help BJP and the party should not pretend to be like him. He was a silent, focused and dedicated person a quality which today’s leader lack. It appears that only Modi is making good efforts to attract investments into India and he is being largely successful. Menaka Gandhi is more interested in bringing Varun Gandhi in UP politics. She is displaying selfishness and wants a lucrative position for him.

RLD Chief Ajit Singh does not want to vacate the bungalow occupied by him in Delhi. These are very big bungalows and many politicians want to own them for free in the name of their parents. The Lucknow airport is already named after Chaudhary Charan Singh while an entire university is named after him in Meerut then why is Ajit Singh demanding more for him. Charan Singh was largely known for his honesty. He had good knowledge of agriculture and land reforms. Ajit Singh is no match for him. He was defeated in Lok Sabha elections. Why he doesn’t go to Baghpat and stay in his own house? Why did he instigate farmers to agitate and attempted to cut water supply in Delhi? All this is anti-national activities. If we declare all bungalows in Lutyens’ Zone as memorials, we will have so many memorials that nobody would pay a visit.

The home ministry should become strict. We need to remain vigilant about Bangladeshis while carrying out coastal trade with them. They may indulge in anti-national activities under the guise of trade. The same aspect is applicable to Maldives. They have not offered contract to an Indian company for constructing the airport but their seamen arrive in India to seek sympathy as poor neighbours. They try to pass examinations easily and then join reputed foreign companies to give tough competition to Indians. Our DG Shipping should remain watchful about these activities.
