Racism doesn’t exist in India?

One Indian calling another black is the top order racism and senior BJP leader Tarun Vijay’s unceremonious mention of dark people residing in south India must be condemned by all. Skin colour is a gift from God and differentiating fellow human beings on the basis of the skin’s colour is a revolt against the Almighty. Attacks on African students have been on the rise in our country of late. Politicians and others should refrain from making racist comments which might escalate tension. This is not just bad for our democracy but degrading our country’s International image.

People in politics should be governed by model code of conduct and ethics. Their public behaviour has been miserable in recent past. Public servants have been slapped with slippers and flights delayed for flimsy reasons which cannot be tolerated. Appropriate punishment and fines on their behaviour is the need of the hour, so that, such sad incidents are not repeated in future.
