Can you imagine a life without festivals? Impossible, right? It’s hard to overstate their importance in our lives and the life of a community. They’re often reasons for bringing the family together, making friends and celebrating the very spirit of mankind. It is occasionally festival in which people gather together for the purpose of sharing the good times, joys and happiness. Festivals motivate us to be better people and to share our joys with the world. But, I am sorry to say that this Ram Navami in Bihar and Bengal turned into lamentation. There were violence, provocation and mayhem like most communal violences in India, arson, looting, vandalism destruction and also, now death.
