The underworld’s drug addiction noose is tightening around the Mumbai collegians. The city colleges are being targeted by the underworld for the sale of “Mafedrone’ or ‘meow meow’ is the information given by some students to Mumbai Police’s ‘Anti Narcotics Division (ANC)’.  From the police reports we will come to know the seriousness of this problem which has spread across various parts of the country. Addiction of a drug called “MD” is on the increase among school and college students. India is a nation with a large population of youth. There is no doubt that there has been a systematic conspiracy to push the youth of the country into the ravine of materialistic life for their own personal economic gains. Students should voluntarily avoid these things which may lead to many serious illness. We accept that this generation is wise and knowledgeable. And inspite of this if they have fallen prey to drugs then what is the use of this knowledge? Nowadays the dialogue between guardian and students is not as positive as it should be. Hence the ward falls prey to the drug to overcome the loneliness that he feels. This is blackening the future of the nation. It is necessary that people should come forward and address this issue.
