They were once pitted against each other as arch rivals and were believed to have had their respective camps in the Tinsel Town.
But they put all speculations to rest by hugging each other at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar party last year and repeating the friendly gesture this year too.
Both SRK and Salman are very bus with their respective projects. Shah Rukh is occupied with his latest flick- ‘Happy New Year’, while Salman is gearing up to host ‘Bigg Boss’ for the fifth consecutive time.
Salman had earlier offered to promote Shah Rukh’s HNY on his show, if the latter was willing to make his presence felt. The ‘Chennai Express’ superstar appreciated Salman’s proposal humbly.
On being asked if he would consider Salman’s invitation, SRK while addressing the media said, “Everybody is courteous and gracious and so is Salman Khan.”
“The marketing is part of the production and whatever we are asked to do, we will do it. We would only be happy to be going wherever we are invited,” SRK added.
“Everybody is very courteous and gracious and so is Salman bhai. We love that he thought we should come there. If we have the scope and time, most certainly we will go there. If we don’t have it, please don’t take it seriously and say that we avoided it. It just needs to be done when it needs to be done. I think it’s gracious of Bigg Boss to talk about our film. It’s wonderful and sweet of everyone,” said SRK.
