Suicide an escape route for problems?

It seems that suicides have been known to increase during economic crisis. The loss of a job and fear of financial ruin can drive people to suicide. Losing a cherished job or attaining retirement can be an emotional jolt that leads to suicide. Statistics show a third of all people who commit suicide are unemployed. A job is a stabilizing force in many people’s lives as they tend to get depressed after becoming unemployed. Suicide is the easy way out. Some people just can’t see any other way of coping. It’s often referred to as “the coward’s way out.” A lot of people don’t understand: the reality is that we reach an age in life where we are too tired to restart once again. One should take things as they come and deal with them as the end result may be better.
