Women in India today have made a mark in every aspect of life — academically, professionally or politically. They have achieved financial independence with education and have developed a life of dignity and self-respect. They are breaking barriers and charting new paths across a diverse range of disciplines. Today, there are ample numbers of opportunities in front of women to succeed and stand as equals with their male counterparts. There is also an active participation of women in all fields and in the coming years, I’m sure that women will have a greater role in the Indian society.
