The 28-year-old actor – who has been single since splitting from his former girlfriend Sami Miro earlier this year – doesn’t think a guy should always make the first move and would “prefer” it if someone wants to date him would approach him first.
He said: “I think it’s fine for girls to ask boys out. I actually prefer it.”
However, the ‘Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates’ star has admitted he can’t hide his feelings when he likes a girl.
He said: “A girl can tell I like her when I blush or start telling bad jokes.”
But Zac is usually comfortable with showing his feelings.
He said: “I’m not afraid to cry. Not all of the time. But when I’m watching a movie, I’ll sometimes shed a tear.”
The Hollywood hunk was once left red-faced after mistaking someone else’s fiance for his own girlfriend.
He said: “I was walking behind somebody who I thought was the girl I Was at a party with, and I lifted her up and whirled her around… and it was not my date.
“It was somebody’s fiancee and the guy in question was not amused. I had to apologise and everyone seemed upset. That wasn’t fun.”
Though the ‘Baywatch’ star always thinks he has a certain type, he still finds himself falling for girls that lack the qualities he is looking for.
“You think you want a specific quality and you end up falling in love with somebody who doesn’t have that at all.
“But you know, everybody is different and has qualities you need to accept.”
