Bollywood is smitten with the biopic rage lately. Glamorous actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who made a comeback with ‘Jazbaa’ after a long hiatus is now gearing up for ‘Sarbjit’.
The movie also stars Randeep Hooda along with Aishwarya and is highly anticipated.
According to a report in IANS, the ‘Sarbjit’ team has been permitted to shoot near the international border with Pakistan near Attari.
Further it suggests that, Aishwarya requested government officials for the permission.
Helmed by Omung Kumar, ‘Sarbjit’ is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death.
The film is slated to hit the screens on May 19.
