Attack is the best form of defence

It is time to face fire with fire. Having waited for so long we find that Pakistan is trying to instigate India through various means and to counter it we need to follow innovative tactics for fighting dirty war in Kashmir. We tried all the peaceful ways and time tested methods could not help India and we failed miserably. Pakistan is trying to inflict huge causality on our side and the civilians in the border areas suffer the most. Neighbours Afghanistan, Bangladesh all fought proxy war over their neighbours but were forced to face terror and war attacks in the recent past. India as a powerful nation and fully equipped with arms and ammunition is not going to see the stone pelters go haywire and create problems in the Kashmir valley. The law and order situation is deteriorating as Pakistan is promoting cross border terrorism and disrupting peace in the valley. We tried to follow the rules of Geneva convention but that has failed to yield desired results. Attack is the best form of defence and the army chief General Bipin Rawat has sent right signals to take an all out effort to nullify the enemy. It is the right time to plunge into action instead of just facing the consequences in a lighter vein. Innovative tactics is the need of the hour to go all out.

We spend huge amount on defence portfolio and that should not go waste.  The arms and ammunition so procured should not go into the hands of our enemy and we should take steps to prevent infiltration. This is a proxy war and we should fire all guns to restore peace and make sure that the pundits who left the valley for safety should be brought back and thus teach a lesson to Pakistan. Our neighbour is trying all the methods to instigate us and the attempts were foiled in the past with success. But the loss of army men and residents staying in these border areas needs to be taken care without wasting time. The rules of engagements exist when the adversaries come face to face and we need not buy time to bring peace. Pakistan deserves a powerful attack on their forces from all the sides. In the dirty war only we come across innovation to make sure that we are not at loss. Enough is enough and it is time to see that the tough nut cracks when invading us in a provocative way or causing inroads into their territory to make the enemy take a retrograde step rather than trying to attack all the time.

The activists in Pakistan should realise that throwing stones and petrol bombs at the army men is not going to solve their problem in any way. Rivals must be scared of our army and at the same time our people should abide by the rules of the law. By overstepping the authority they face various hardships and they are solely responsible for this.

A composite solution is on the cards and everybody will have to get involved in an effort to restore peace in the valley. Army’s role is to ensure violence does not occur and the common man is not a part of this unwanted mutiny.  Hard talk will only find an amicable solution and keep the valley under check and within our control.
