Beyoncé’s voice in demand for ‘The Lion King’ remake?

Pop diva Beyoncé is reportedly filmmaker Jon Favreau’s choice to lend the voice to Nala in the animated remake of “The Lion King”.

According to Variety, the 50-year-old director wants the songstress to do the voice role alongside Donald Glover who will give voice to Simba.

Beyoncé has been approached for the role, but has not decided on it yet and no further details were included.

James Earl Jones will reprise the role of Mufasa for the film having voiced the character in the classic 1994 animation.

The film is probably being put up for a 2018 release.
