On April 9, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi observed a symbolic fast against the caste and communal violence across the nation. Following him, PM Modi is likely to observe a day-long fast on April 12 to console and covet the Schedule Castes and the tribal people. Overall, the process of distributing lollypop (income and caste certificates) has been largely streamlined in the southern states of the country. Under which seven schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free gas connections, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana etc. are given to the rural poor. These kids’ stuffs are only to lure the Schedule Castes and Tribal people and keep their vote bank intact ahead of 2019 General Election.
