The Consumer Guidance Society of India (CGSI), a NGO registered as Consumer Advisory Group with TRAI has organised a telecom week from 20th October to 26th October 2016. Complaints against Telecom Service Providers are growing by the day. Most of the consumers try to seek redressal for their complaints, however if unaddressed they become frustrated. In order to address their complaints, CGSI has organized a ‘Grievance Redressal Week’ for all consumers with telecom related services (including mobile & broadband categories).
“According to our report, CGSI has received maximum number of complaints against telecom and broadband service providers. In order to streamline the process, CGSI has organized a telecom grievance redressal week to win back the consumer confidence and encourage them to fight for their rights”, stated Dr. M S Kamath, Hon. Secretary, CGSI.
