Traveling by local trains has become an ordeal. Overcrowding is witnessed in local trains almost every day. Generally, office going passengers travel during non-peak hours and face all the trials and tribulations of travelling. Dadar station is one of the most crowded stations catering to the needs of both Western and Central Railways.  But horror in platform number one is most typical one and needs to be attended on a priority basis. A blind spot post problems to passengers. The flawed platform design does not have a ramp and the space at the end of the problem is totally cramped with the start of staircase from that end point. These all add fuel to the fire and pave way for number of accidents taking place at the killer spot. And catching train at peak hour in Dadar becomes very difficult. The chances of commuter falling down is more. It is time to give a safety warning at this spot and repair the same to provide more space and slope for avoiding mishaps.
