Degraded ethics in Indian society

Delhi Police have registered an FIR of rape against a four and half year old child. This shows the level of degradation of ethics in our society. There should be an emphasis in seriously inculcating values of right and wrong in our children from an early age. The age of the child accused shows us that such wrong thoughts are arising in children at a very early age and they are rapidly moving towards action. This is a warning, wake up call to society. We cannot see right thoughts, ethics and good sanskar are not seen anywhere. Shirking this responsibility by saying that it is the job of the school to teach children is not acceptable. In the materialistic world attention to the children and inculcating values takes a back seat or is completely ignored. It is from here that the child begins to suffer. At a young age the child cannot understand on his own what is right and what is wrong. It is for his family to acquaint him with what is right and appropriate and what is wrong (in appropriate). One does not have to make any effort to learn that which is wrong their attraction is capable of making one accept them. But the good things have to be laboriously taught. Even if we have to fight to teach children good values and ethics, even if the children have to be scolded and punished it is necessary to make them understand and clean their thoughts and values.
