With the release of his first book, ‘The Kiss Of Life: How My Son Defeated Cancer’, Emraan Hashmi aims to spread awareness about cancer and help victims as well as their families to deal with the traumatic experience. Adding to his fight against the illness, the actor has decided to give away the money he would receive as a royalty from the sales of his book.
Emraan Hashmi has decided to donate the money for the treatment of cancer patients whose families cannot afford it. It is being said that the actor is currently trying to finalize a plan for the same. He is in a dilemma as to donate the money to cancer hospitals or NGOs who can fund these cancer patients. Emraan Hashmi’s four year old son Ayaan who is a cancer survivor, inspired the Bollywood star to not just write a book on it but also work towards the noble cause of providing funds to patients and increasing awareness on cancer.
