Depositing cash in your own account at private bank attracts charges if it is done at a branch other than where you have your account. This is ridiculous and nullifies anywhere banking which these private sector banks boast about. These charges are waived off if the account holder personally goes to deposit the money at one’s own branch. What difference it make as it is difficult for the sick and aged persons to visit bank branches to perform banking transactions. It is high time, RBI or other banking regulator look into this penalization urgently.
Private banks earn a lot of money by these illogical charges and the government too should stop them from exercising such dictator type governance and save poor of their hard earned money which he deposits as savings in his account.
