IPL 10 opening ceremony was simple and well organised with the game of cricket given more importance than other fanfare. Even though, the actual game in the field is mere a formality, we really enjoyed the cheer girls and other extensive arrangements in promoting our ex-players in a grand way. India great VVS Laxman, Virendra Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar take a lap of honour on a buggy during IPL opening ceremony at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium at Uppal, Hyderabad with former India captain Sourav Ganguly makes a stylish entry. The missing link was Rahul Dravid, the wall of Indian cricket. The famous three Sachin, Sehwag and Laxman were taken in a motorcade and taken for a ride inside the stadium. To top it all, actress Amy Jackson performed during the IPL opening ceremony to enthral audience. Despite the follow up of players in IPL by the ACU of BCCI and the funds crunch after Lodha recommendations, this season opening match was a high scoring one and the crowd enjoyed every moment with big sixes from the blade of Yuvraj Singh. It was entertainment, entertainment and entertainment all the way.
