Singer Nicole Scherzinger says she has got back to her authentic self following her split from reigning Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton.
The former Pussycat Dolls star enjoyed learning about herself again after she split from Hamilton, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I got back to my authentic self. It was, oh, this is what I like and this is what makes me laugh and what makes me dance and feel free. It was a transformative, healing time,” Scherzinger told Glamour magazine.
“It’s so important as women, whether we’re in relationships or not, that we nurture ourselves. You have stronger relationships when you’re strong within. When you’re not looking for somebody else to fulfil you,” she added.
The 38-year-old singer is now dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.
