Heavy rainfall reported in Thane and surrounding area, since last 6-hours. Waterlogging also reported in low lying areas of the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issues at alert predicting heavy to heavier rainfall in next 3-4 hours.
Central and trans-horbour local rails were also distrupted and were delayed by 20 to 30 minutes.
87 mm rainfall recorded in Thane’s Kopari area, while 102 mm recorded in Naupada area.
Ulhas River, Bhatsa River, Tansa River also crossed the danger level which has created alert in the city.
