Bollywood girl-next-door Shraddha Kapoor was recently seen in a musical avatar, singing some real rock stuff. However, ‘Rock On 2’ received a lukewarm response from the viewers, and this left Shraddha a little sad.
“It’s sad that the film has not done well, you do feel bad. You work hard and spend so much time on a film, a Friday comes and decides the fate of the film. I wish the film did better and people would have liked the film. I guess there are some mixed response and I hope people like the film,” Shraddha said on the sidelines of Global Citizen Festival India.
‘Rock On 2’ was a sequel to superhit 2008 musical drama by the same name ‘Rock On!!’. Shujaat Saudagar directed the Shraddha Kapoor starrer which had Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Shashank Arora, and Prachi Desai in pivotal roles.
Shraddha, who has showcased her singing side in films says she enjoys performing live. “It feels good to be performing live and I hope I get to perform live more. I am happy to be here,” she added.
