Virat Kohli’s played a captain’s knock by scoring brilliant 153 in the second test against South Africa. Kohli had to make amends for dropping in-form Bhuvanesh Kumar and sacking Shikhar Dhawan for no reason but Virat Kohli silenced his critics including myself with a spirited performance. Poor running between the wickets is a matter of concern for Team India and that needs to be sorted out in the days to come.
Kohli is perhaps the best batsman in world Cricket at the moment and could become the greatest ever if he continues to bat like he has been doing consistently over the years. Indian bowlers have bowled well in South Africa and it is our over rated batsmen who need to lift up their game.
