It’s been less than two hours since designer Maria Grazia Chiuri debuted her first collection for Christian Dior, but it already has the fashion press and celebrities salivating. Jennifer Lawrence was one of the first to get her feet – sorry hands – on the new collection, which for the fashion week uninitiated is actually Spring/ Summer 2017 (meaning hitting stores in January).
Even before it began, there was a frenzy around the show; this is the first with the ex-Valentino creative director steering the ship and expectations were mixed. However, Chiuri wowed the crowd. She touched on traditional Dior craftsmanship, whipped up romantic tulle dresses and cool girl references with her use of statement bra straps and branded ribbon adornment. JLaw wore slingback kitten heels hot off the runway that were laced with said Dior ribbon.
While Jennifer’s are too new to buy – at least for another few months – the silhouette is easily found in stores right now. Follow in her footsteps and wear yours with low rise jeans.

The Oscar-winning actress attended the Spring-Summer 2017 ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week in a simple vest top and cropped jeans.
